For the third year in a row, the Texas Marching Classic concluded the jam-packed day of competition with the Vandegrift Viper Band and Vision Dance Company taking home a gold medal. The Austin-based ensemble topped second place Rouse High School by over two points in Finals competition, with Vandegrift scoring a 91.200 and Rouse earning an 88.950.

The two competitors met earlier this season at BOA Austin with Rouse coming out on top by only 0.15 points.

Here's a look at the full slate of Finals scores from the Texas Marching Classic:

Adding to their success for the evening, Vandegrift also managed to win every Finals and Prelims 6A caption award (Outstanding Auxilary, Percussion, Music, Visual, and General Effect) with their 2023 program titled, 'Spotlight.'

Rouse High School came in second with their program titled, 'Requiem.' The show features dazzling soloist and small group features, in addition to powerful musical and visual hits throughout. The Leander-based program came in first place overall in the 5A Class in Prelims in addition to taking home victories in the Outstanding Auxilary, Music, Visual, and General Effect captions.

Cedar Park High School rounded out the top three in Finals competition with their program titled, 'Belle Mechanique,' which is filled with dazzling visuals and jaw-dropping ensemble moments. In 5A Class Prelims competition, the Timberwolf Band also managed a win in the Outstanding Percussion caption.
