And we get to do it all again tomorrow! Electric.

So, what all happened today? Let's recap.

Of course, there's the scores. We've narrowed down the six competitive classifications into a pool of semifinalists, and a handful of groups have emerged from their respective packs.

In Independent World, three groups finished within one point of one another atop the overall leaderboard, with Paramount taking top score at 95.900. Blessed Sacrament — which, like Paramount, performed in Block 3 — scored 95.500, while 2022's IW champion Pride of Cincinnati scored 94.900 in Block 2. Those three scored nearly four points ahead of the rest of the IW field.

Speaking of Pride of Cincinnati, can we just talk about this moment? Stunning.

Carmel made a statement at the top of the Scholastic World pack, posting a 95.500 and scoring a full point and a half ahead of second-place Tarpon Springs (94.000). Avon (93.200) and The Woodlands (93.000) both finished within striking distance.

Tarpon Springs earned every bit of its top-two Scholastic World finish with a fantastic run of "The Origin of Cool."

Independent Open ensembles were split across two venues for Prelims action, with Vox Artium (92.500) taking the top score. Keep an eye on Etude Open (91.400), which scored within 1.1 points of the top spot at a separate venue.

Somerset Academy (90.100) led the way after five rounds of Scholastic Open competition, as the only SO group to break 90 points. The race throughout Scholastic Open was air-tight, though, as Mt. Carmel (89.500) and Milford (89.200) both scored within a point of the leaders.

More than 100 groups competed in Scholastic A across 12 rounds and two venues, and the overall top score went to Dobyns-Bennett with a 92.660. With more than 50 semifinalists, though, it's still anybody's ballgame; three other groups — Clear Brook (92.470), Holly Springs (92.200) and E.D. White (92.110) — all broke 92 alongside Doybns-Bennett, with another five breaking 91.

The top score in Independent A came from one of the very last groups to perform, as Pacificaires' 91.760 led the way after six rounds. Purdue University (90.900), Collage (90.430), The Magnolia Project (89.970) and Tampa Independent A (89.370) were all in close vicinity.

All of today's action sets the table for two more awesome days of color guard, and there's plenty of ways to get plugged in throughout Friday's Semifinals:
