We are a week away from the first of Bands of America's Super Regionals, so instead we have a full three contests lined up for Saturday, October 15, including the Bands of America Newark Regional, presented by Yamaha. Be sure to also check out the regionals in Winston-Salem and Hillsboro.

Morning Block 1

(All times are EST)
Plainfield H.S. - 8:15 AM
The Plainfield band are the reigning 3A New England States and Connecticut marching band champions for the third straight year. In 2013, Plainfield marched in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. The band is also the 2015 2A USBands Winterguard champions and the 2013 1A USBands Winterguard champions.

Fairfax H.S. - 9:15 AM
The Fairfax High School band has been a Virginia Honor Band for the past seven years and participated in the 2013 National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis. The Marching Rebels are performing at two Bands of America regionals this fall and the Parade of Champions at James Madison University.

Morning Block 2

Cleveland H.S. - 10:00 AM
The Cleveland High School band is a proud participant in concert festivals and pageantry arts events. In its short history, Cleveland has been a Music for All caption winner, class champion, and Music for All finalist. The Winter Guard is a WGI A Class and Open Class finalist. The Cleveland winds is the current WGI Open Class World champions!

Brick Memorial H.S. - 11:30 AM
Brick Memorial is the six-time New Jersey Open Class State champions, four-time Atlantic Coast Open Class champions, and the 12-time Greater NY/NJ Metro Area Open Class champions.


Afternoon Block 1

Elizabeth H.S. - 1:00 PM
The Elizabeth band was a 2015 Bands of America Newark Regional finalist. It was also the 2011, 2012, and 2013 USBands Group 5A New Jersey and national champions.

James Madison H.S. - 1:45 PM
The James Madison High School marching ensemble is a four-time class champion and is a consistent finalist at Bands of America Regional and Super Regional events. The band program is a 25-year State of Virginia Honor Band and a two-time recipient of the Sousa Foundation's Sudler Flag of Honor.


Afternoon Block 2

Trumbull H.S. - 3:15 PM
The Trumbull band has performed in three previous BOA Regionals and finished in third place at the 2015 Newark Regional. The band will be performing in the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It has performed for three of the past four U.S. presidents. Trumbull was the Musical Arts Conference 2015 National Class champions, USBands New England State Class 6 champions, and third at the 2015 US Bands National Championships.

Spring-Ford Area H.S. - 3:30 PM
The Spring-Ford Area Golden Ram marching band is a 2015 Bands of America Regional finalist. They are a 14-time class champion in the Tournament of Bands and Cavalcade of Bands circuits. Spring-Ford Area's symphonic band performed at the 2016 Pennsylvania Music Educators In-Service Convention.
