Rustles of Spring is one of Christian Sinding’s best known works. It was written to describe the way spring abruptly starts in Northern Europe and the rustles before. Sinding was inspired by German composers such as Schumann and Liszt. His pieces are lyrical and of a descriptive nature and a prime example of Scandinavian romanticism.
