Coming to you from Austin, TX, at the FloSports Headquarters, we're starting a brand new project called "On The 50 with Dan Schack" hosted by designer, educator, and much, much more... Dan Schack. During this show, Dan interviews some of the most sought after designers and educators in the marching arts–period.
They discuss judging, design, arranging, the culture of the groups that are excellent year after year, and some of the thought processes that drive the marching arts into the future. This podcast is for performers, educators, fans, and students.
Check out FloMarching every Tuesday and Thursday for new episodes of On The 50.

It's finally time to celebrate one corps that knows its identity and sticks to it—The Blue Stars. Stick around all week as we bring up old coverage from the past dive into what the future will hold for the Wisconsin organization.
For now, though, we leave you with their 2019 DCI Finals performance.
When band directors sign up their programs for BOA contests, distance, time, and student experience are some of the most influential reasons for selecting which show they want to attend. But cross-country trips are typically reserved for bands making their way to Grand Nationals in Indianapolis.
However, for the Avon Marching Black and Gold, Lucas Oil Stadium is only about 30 minutes away. So, BOA Grand Nationals are essentially a home show for them.
So in the fall of 2017, Jay Webb, Director of Bands, decided to take them on an epic trip over 1,100 miles to the BOA San Antonio Super Regional.
