Drum Corps Come Out Of Hibernation For Auditions

Grab your fanny packs, it's time for the 2019 drum corps audition season!

All of your favorite marching, performing circuses have come out of hibernation to start looking at their 2019 rosters! Thousands of auditionees have been practicing for hours on end to take their shot at marching across the country all summer long!

Bluecoats had their first camp this weekend, making their trip to McKinney High School, north of Dallas. Many corps will hold camps in the DFW area to tap into the massive talent pool that is the "Lone Star State."

Carolina Crown also had a few hundred auditionees show up to their camp in Fort Mill, SC over the weekend.

Spirit of Atlanta also held an audition over the weekend for the 2019 corps, drawing in some big numbers for the hornline and battery.

Also, check out some photos from Phantom Regiment's percussion and guard camp. The group is looking to field a co-ed color guard this year and will have 10 spots open to males for the 2019 cast.

It's not too late to sign up for an audition with any corps if you haven't taken the leap yet! Many corps will be looking to fill spots far into 2019, so keep searching and get started now!
