Pacific Crest Releases 25th Anniversary Show Concept
From Diamond Bar, CA, Pacific Crest has released their 2018 program for their 25th anniversary!
Inspired by the visuals and music from "La La Land," Pacific Crest has released the details behind the concept of its 25th-anniversary production, "Here's To The Ones Who Dream."
The website announcement describes the 2018 concept as recreating "the glitz, glamour, and excitement of classic Hollywood: a place where those come looking for their chance to shine."
Although there is no music selection announcement accompanying the show concept and title, the corps has revealed that the music is inspired by the soundtrack for "La La Land," a movie released in 2016 that earned many Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations, including an Oscar win for "Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Score)."
