The 2017 Bands of America Tennessee Regional Championship is heading back to Clarksville, TN, this weekend and bringing with it an incredible lineup of returning finalists.

Among last year's standout performers, Castle (IN), Adair County (KY), and Franklin (TN) are three Regional Finalists that are looking to vault themselves into a better placement and a higher level of performance at Frontera Stadium on Saturday.

Castle (IN)

Last year, Castle's band ended up on top at the end of the night in Tennessee and capitalized on its success by placing 10th overall at the BOA Grand Nationals. The Castle Marching Knights will be performing their production "Fly to Paradise" at Fortera Stadium at 3:15 PM CDT.

Following last year's tragic passing of one of the Castle band members, vocal soloist Sophie Rinehart, the marching community across the country has come together in support by using the hashtag "#WeAreCastle." In memory of Rinehart, Castle also renamed its scholarship program in her honor. Check out the band's website for more information.

Adair County (KY)

The five-time Class A Grand Champion at BOA Grand Nationals will be making an appearance in Clarksville at 1 PM CDT. Adair County's show this season features a variety of recognizable music including some rock tunes mixed with classical composers. The band will be playing music from the following composers: John Mackey, Henry Purcell, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Radiohead, Metallica, and The Rolling Stones.

Franklin (TN)

Coming in a close second behind Castle (IN) at the 2016 Tennessee Regional was the Franklin High School Band from Central Tennessee. Wrapping up its season last fall at Grand Nationals, the Franklin Band earned 17th overall in Semifinals and is surely looking to reach for Finals this year and capitalize on its veteran performers. Performing second at 9 AM CDT, Franklin will be presenting its show "Beneath the Surface." Franklin's show includes "Four Sea Interludes" by Benjamin Britten, "Fantasia on a Theme" by Thomas Tallis, "A Sea Symphony" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and finally "The Seal Lullaby" composed by Eric Whitacre.
