It seems like the Bluecoats and Blue Devils were duking it out for first place at finals just yesterday, but the time has come for the 2017 Drum Corps International Tour to begin! The Bluecoats and Cadets in particular have made a big point of keeping fans in the dark about their 2017 productions. We got a glimpse of Blue Stars and the Cavaliers in our Spring Training Finale on Tuesday, and neither corps' performance disappointed.

If you're in the Indianapolis area or plan on going to the theaters to watch the 2017 DCI Tour Premiere, here's an update on all of the corps competing in tonight's show!

The Crossmen will be leading off the premiere with their show, "Enigma." They released their uniforms over the weekend and have posted pictures with their props all over social media, so we have an idea that the Crossmen will be integrating a decent amount of cloth straps into their production. The corps released a video on its Facebook page on Wednesday that highlights a few of the members speaking about their excitement for tonight!

The Blue Stars
performed live on our 2017 DCI Spring Training Finale stream on Tuesday and are ready to take their love story to the big stage at Lucas Oil Stadium tonight. Their 2017 production, "Star Crossed," will keep you on the edge of your seat with recognizable music, mesmerizing drill, and stunning uniforms in the color guard. Keep an ear out for that brass section: They are coming out of spring training strong and will not let you forget it! Here's their schedule for the first big show day.

The Cadets have kept much of their show under wraps, but the iconic corps is performing music familiar to its organization from Leonard Bernstein's "Mass." The Cadets have a tradition of coming out of spring training with a powerful visual program, and they will undoubtedly have another strong showing tonight while performing their 2017 production, "The Faithful, The Fallen, The Forgiven." Check out their rehearsal schedule for today, below!

The Cavaliers will show off their completed 2017 production, "Men Are From Mars," without the interruption of lightning this time! It seems Mother Nature determined that the DCI world was not ready to see their whole show at Tuesday's Spring Training Finale. If you caught the stream, you know that it'll be hard to keep your eyes off of the Cavaliers' battery, which is doing some incredible things this summer. The color guard also made a big statement -- before being run off the field -- with the way it handled its equipment in the wind. The 2017 Cavaliers are going to be one of those corps that you just cannot get out of your head with their spinning quads, interesting prop placement, and high-velocity drill. Check out what the Cavaliers have been up to today in preparation for the big show tonight:

Carolina Crown
have teased fans with their show title for the entirety of their spring training. They just announced their official show title and uniforms in the past week. The corps will sport a similar yet different look than what it has worn in the past few seasons, but the jackets and shakos are still in the format that drum corps fans have come to recognize. Don't miss tonight's first look at the famously impressive CrownBrass: Rumor has it they have something pretty impressive up their sleeves for the closer!

Bluecoats... Well, if you didn't follow the Bluecoats this spring training, then you are in for a treat! The corps was extremely secretive about its show this season, even more so than previous seasons (if you even thought that was possible!). The Bluecoats' repertoire has a similar feel to last year, but as most fans know, it will not fail to push past the line of what the drum corps world expects. They have been a leader in driving the activity from a technology standpoint, and we're sure they will not fail to disappoint this year. The Bluecoats are coming off of their first-ever DCI World Championship, so you can expect that they are taking tonight very, very seriously. Check out their schedule from today, below.
