BOA St. Louis Super Regional Preview - Day 2
The Bands of America Super Regionals have ARRIVED! On Friday, October 21, bands from across the nation will converge at the Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional, presented by Yamaha, inside The Dome at America's Center for the first of four super regional events. With more bands, more performances, and more finalists to pack in the 70,000-seat capacity stadium, the competition will be spread out over two days of preliminary performances. Here are some of the amazing bands that will be performing their shows on Saturday morning.

Morning Block 1

(All times are CST)
Keller Fossil Ridge H.S. - 8:00 AM
The Fossil Ridge Panther Regiment has qualified for the Texas UIL State Marching Band Contest four times. The Panther Regiment is a consistent UIL Area marching finalist. The Fossil Ridge band program is a regular recipient of the Texas UIL Sweepstakes Award.

Metamora Township H.S. - 8:30 AM
The Metamora band program is celebrating over 100 years of musical excellence in the heart of Illinois. The Metamora marching band is a non-mandatory ensemble that competes annually at BOA and frequents competitions around central Illinois.

Morning Block 2

Blue Springs H.S. - 10:30 AM
The Blue Springs band has been super regional finalist in St. Louis, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and San Antonio. Blue Springs is also a Sudler Shield recipient and a grand national finalist. The band has performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade twice, the Tournament of Roses Parade twice, and as the honor band in the 2015 Presidential Inaugural Parade.

Bentonville H.S. - 12:15 PM
Bentonville PRIDE is in its fifth year as participant in the Music for All Bands of America events. The PRIDE has been a finalist at the St. Louis Super Regional for three straight years. It was previously awarded a finalist position at the Indianapolis Super Regional and a was a semifinalist at last year's BOA Grand National Championships. Bentonville is the only band in Arkansas to be awarded these honors at BOA events.


Afternoon Block

Rosemount H.S. - 3:15 PM
The marching band at Rosemount High School is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program involving over 470 students engaged in six concert bands, five jazz ensemble, jazz improv, percussion ensemble, winter colorguard, small ensemble, and a private lesson program. Rosemount has been a St. Louis Super Regional finalist every year since 2005. The band was the 2010-13 BOA St. Louis Super Regional Class AAA champion and the 2006-14 Minnesota state marching band champion. Rosemount also has been selected to perform in the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Broken Arrow H.S. - 4:00 PM
Broken Arrow's marching band has a rich heritage and an extensive pedigree of state and national awards, including 13 consecutive and 22 overall OBA State Marching Band Championships as of June 2015. The Broken Arrow marching band appeared in the 2009 and 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade and was a recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Foundation's Sudler Shield in 1998 and 2009. As a representative of the State of Oklahoma, the Pride performed in Presidential Inaugural Parades for President William Jefferson Clinton (1993) and President George W. Bush (2005). The band is also a consistent finalist and grand champion at numerous Bands of America Regional Championships. The Pride of Broken Arrow is honored to have been named the Bands of America Fan Favorite at two Grand National Championships and the Esprit de Corps recipient in 1998 and 2010. Broken Arrow is an 12-time grand national finalist and is the 2006, 2011, and 2015 Bands of America Grand National champion.
