The Blue Devils remain unbeaten in 2017 after winning the DCI Southeastern Championship. But to say that the scores are getting close is an understatement. The Santa Clara Vanguard scored a 93.125 came within .013 points of eclipsing BD's 93.138. Carolina Crown came in third with a 91.688 and debuted their new ending featuring their trademark crown drill set. The defending champions Bluecoats finished 4th with a 91.175. The Cavaliers, Cadets, Phantom Regiment, Blue Knights, Blue Stars, and The Academy rounded out the top 10.
