From band camp in the summer to the last contest of the season, marching arts students spend hours on end rehearsing and performing their art. So we want to know, on average, how many hours are spent doing various marching related activities during the Fall marching band season?

Hours on the bus:

What it feels like = 3 weeks straight with no bathroom breaks.
What it actually is = 45 hours

Hours marching half time:

What it feels like = 20 hours
What it actually is = 2.67 hours

Hours watching football:

What it feels like = what football game?
What it actually is = 32 hours

Hours stretching:

What it feels like = Not enough time in the world.
What it actually is = 12.5 hours

Hours marching basic:

What it feels like = 1,000,000 hours
What it actually is = 18.75 hours

Hours learning drill:

What it feels like = 500,000 hours
What it actually is = 36 hours

Hours performing your show in contest:

What it feels like = Don't know, blacked out.
What it actually is = 1.67 hours
